Prepare for a career in Water/Wastewater
The basic water and wastewater courses are for entry level students, and will form a basis for beginning a career as a water or wastewater system operator. The minimum prerequisite is a high school diploma or GED. These jobs are plentiful and offer excellent opportunities for advancement. Employers include counties, cities, water authorities, and private industries. These employers usually offer excellent benefits including health insurance, sick leave, paid vacation time, and retirement benefits.
